This is part one of an expanded version of the authors book Anzacs, Empires and israel's Restoration 1798- 1948 which was published in 1998 but is no longer available. The second part; Jerusalem - The Road to San Remo is still being prepared as at August 2018. Part one concludes with the capture of Jerusalem in 1917.
